Welcome to the website of the
Order of the Bed - an organisation devoted to the construction
of a new world order around comfort, sleep and, most importantly,
Beds. This website probably won't say much about the details,
as the policy creators are all too busy lazing around to do any
work, but enjoy your visit anyway. |
Then
we have two long-running and popular sections which represent
the most frequently updated bits of the website:
The
Wye Valley Railway
A
Planning Department project which may be better understood if
that page is read first. Consisting of over 100,000 words, this
area has been commented on, examined, referenced and plagiarised
(including in a planning application to build a cycleway on the
railway), befitting its role as the largest source of information
about the Wye Valley Railway (an insignificant border branch
line) on the entire Internet.
Seasonal
Area
Paid
for out of the Comment, Satire and Tripe budget, although generally
run by the Planning Department, this section provides a monthly
pretty picture of some description with a three to five paragraph
comment. Comes with a back archive of these pictures and comments
back to January 2009. |
And
apparently we're suppose to also promote:
The Founder's Blog
The
Founder has gone out and got himself a blog without telling anyone.
Apparently he wants something that he can do little things with
more easily and show that he is "aware of social networking".
(90-page websites are so dated.) It's hosted on Wordpress.
Naturally this site is still updated too. |
After
that we come to our collections of other pages on various interesting
topics, all of which reckon that they deserve to be higher up
the page but are in fact managed by people who have nothing better
to do:
Department
of Comment, Satire and Tripe
Offers
a suitably biased view of the world and plays host to various
little articles.
How
To...
...well,
do anything really, unless we haven't written a page on it yet.
Fun
Stuff
Contains
bad jokes, strange riddles, several mazes and ideas for making
stuff.
A
History of the British Railway
Someone
got carried away and produced this set of interesting articles
with a fairly self-explanatory title. |
Finally we
have a collection of pages on other useful topics in various
stages of disrepair:
|
Thanks for
reading this far down and please enjoy the site.
Copyright and legalish
stuff page
Yeah, we hate it too. Basically,
we own everything here (please don't nick it); if you have any
problems do get in touch and something may be done about it.
We haven't tried to include any
evil bugs in this website and on these grounds disclaim all liability
for any mean stuff it might do to your computer. Produced on
obsolete web design software with liberal application of tables
to make it look good. |
